Standard Ink Colors

Halftones – A halftone pattern is a series of dots that vary in size and shape and spacing to create an opticalĀ illusionĀ of varying tones and gradients. The dots are so small that the human eye blends them together so they appear as smooth tones.Halftones are very useful in T-shirt printing, learn about them or ask ANK how to sue them on your next shirt project.

When considering your print color there are some important considerations, try to use the color of your garment in adding strong contrast – like using white ink and gradient halftones to create a third color like gray .By printing white over black you now have two colors to work with, by assing those fine little dots called halftones you can bring in the third color!
